A Little About us...
Welcome to Sorrel Mountain! We are a small family breeder located in Upstate New York. You will find us nestled between the beautiful Adirondacks to the North and the Green Mountain Ranges due East. We raise our pups naturally, following Jane Killions Puppy Culture, a minimal vaccine protocol, and organic practices.
We do a complete genetic panel on all our dogs when choosing them for our breeding program. This ensures you are going home with a genetically sound pup. Making excellent nutrition choices for your pup as well as avoiding over immunization and minimizing exposure to pesticides and chemicals over their lifetime will give your best friend a long healthy life.
Our dogs are raised on our mountain homestead, in forest and field as part of our family. Puppies stay with mom until they go home, enjoying nature along with rich social and interactive experiences.
Many of our pups have gone on to do therapy work, some have worked in the field, and all are excellent family companions. We breed dogs with healthy lines and we focus on producing pups who are intelligent, calm and gentle in temperament, versatile and eager to learn.
